The Bonnaroo Music Festival is this weekend (Friday - Sunday) in some muddy ass field in the middle of nowhere Tennessee. Can't make it? No problem. Once the morning World Cup matches are over, you can tune in to the festival via a couple of online channels.
The official "exclusive" webcast is on YouTube. The scheduled lineup includes Neon Indian, The National, Spearhead, Dead Weather, The Avett Brothers, Jay Z, and LCD Soundsystem. Those of you who did not follow my advice to see LCD Soundsystem a couple of weeks ago in Portland can atone for your sins by tuning into the webcast on Saturday at 6:25 pm.
NPR is also live webcasting from the festival. They don't list a schedule but rather a long, extensive list of acts "to be featured during the live coverage". Either way, you will be able to watch some great performances from Bonnaroo in the comfort of your home without having to deal with this:
