Are You Kidding Me? Vol. 39

The price for this beer never ceases to amaze me:

Rainier Kriek Sour Ale ~ Double Mountain, Hood River, OR
This sour is made with Rainier cherries giving it a tart and fruity taste that finishes light and dry. Lemony aroma and taste mingle with pronounced sourness that hides the high alcohol content; Very enjoyable.
9% ABV Sold by the Glass Only–$11.50

  1. I tasted Ranier Kriek at Portland Int'l Beerfest. Great beer, but I'd pass at $11.50 a glass. It's not that good, IMHO. I prefer Devil's Kriek, anyway.

  4. Paid $6.50 for a 10 oz. glass at the brewery itself, totally reasonable. Sound like the HB is the problem
